We loved this campground, has a marvelous view, no mosquitos at all, nice and clean campsites, wasn't too crowded. We never saw the campground hosts. We highly recommend it !!! And has a plus, its very close to the beach! We tent camped here for 2 nights while exploring the Homer area. You can't beat the views from this campground up high on the Bluff! There was a constant breeze and we were surprised there were no mosquitoes. The vault toilets were cleaned and stocked when we arrived, but the supplies quickly vanished with the memorial day weekend crowd (we always bring our own anyway). Expect traffic noise since this campground is right off the highway. The water pump did not appear to be working. The main reason for a lower rating is safety concerns for families with younger children because the proximity to the steep drop off. It looks like at least 2-3 camping spots have been shut down as the Bluff has eroded. With that said, this campground was better than a similar RV park we considered that was charging 3x as much for a gravel parking spot even closer to the cliff with zero privacy. Only 16 camp sites. Well kept.
