I was looking at lots to buy on the bluff overlooking Cook Inlet and working with a buyer's agent. I talked to the land owner and had negotiated a price. His agent, I will not name her, from Coastal Realty, thought my price was low because she went and bought it. In the end it worked as I found another piece of property that was better but I did not think that it was ethical of her to buy the property from underneath me using her "inside" knowledge. Think twice about what integrity is worth to you and ask around with local people before you choose an agent here. There are plenty to choose from.
